Dr. Michael Flamm - DO

Michael Evin Flamm is an Osteopathic Physician with subspecialty fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Acupuncture. Dr. Flamm came to practice medicine after his own journey through the medical system at a young age. He started asking questions about his own recovery and developed a strong interest in medical problem solving and disease prevention. Since then, he recognizes the patient's individual perspective and values, and uses them as a guide for developing their own comprehensive treatment plan.

After graduating from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Flamm trained at New York University Rusk Rehabilitation for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the first rehabilitation program in the world, followed by a fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Washington Pain Clinic, the first pain clinic in the world. He is certified for Acupuncture in New York State and trained with Mark Seem, a widely revered and published acupuncturist. He attended a limited fellowship with Douglas Beall, MD where he had advanced interventional training in vertebral augmentation, hardware implantation for spinal stenosis, the diagnosis and treatment for disc disease including discogram and basivertebral nerve ablation, and pump implantation and refill management. Dr. Flamm has also published textbook chapters and articles related to the procedures he offers and the conditions he treats.
