About Jordan Shankle, PA-C
Clinical Background
Jordan Shankle, PA-C brings specialized experience in rheumatology and neurology for pain care. Before joining Manhattan Pain Medicine, she worked closely with a headache specialist, giving her a strong clinical foundation in evaluating migraine, chronic headache, and complex head and facial pain presentations.
Clinical Focus
Jordan evaluates inflammatory and autoimmune pain, joint and soft-tissue pain, neuropathic pain, headache and facial pain, cervical and lumbar radiculopathy, myofascial pain, and complex presentations that involve both joint and nerve sources.
Role at MPM
Jordan plays an important role in Manhattan Pain Medicine’s diagnosis-first care model. She conducts detailed intake visits for patients entering complex pathways such as hypermobility, headache and craniocervical instability, autoimmune conditions, and dysautonomia. During these visits, she gathers a detailed history, reviews records, orders labs or imaging when needed, and helps prepare the clinical foundation for a focused physician consultation.
Treatment Planning
Jordan helps build stepwise treatment plans that may include medication management, Botox for migraine prevention, nerve blocks, trigger point therapy, joint injections, IV infusion coordination, and lifestyle or movement guidance. She works closely with the physician team to keep care organized, responsive, and clinically precise.
Collaborative, Diagnosis-First Care
Jordan helps patients with complex overlapping symptoms move through a structured evaluation process, so the care team can better understand what is driving the pain and what treatment path may be most appropriate.
