About Dr. Luis Aranguren

Clinical Background

Dr. Aranguren is a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Management physician with advanced training in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, completed anesthesiology residency training at HCA/USF near Tampa, Florida, and completed an Interventional Pain Management fellowship at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago.

Dr. Aranguren is drawn to complex, multisystem pain presentations. His clinical focus includes autoimmune-related pain, hypermobility, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, complex chronic pain, lumbar and cervical radiculopathy, facet-mediated back and neck pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, peripheral nerve pain, myofascial pain, osteoarthritis, tendinopathies, and post-surgical pain.
